Celebrating 25 Years of Dedication: Samantha Antipas on Her Journey at Netstrata

share

This year, Netstrata proudly celebrated a remarkable milestone as General Manager of Administration, Samantha Antipas, marks 25 years with the company. Joining in October 2000 as a trainee strata manager, Samantha stepped into a business of just ten people. Over the next two decades, she would grow alongside the organisation, shaping and supporting it through every stage of its evolution.

After beginning in strata management, Samantha moved into a series of casual and part-time positions within the Administration team while raising her family. These roles gave her a unique understanding of the business from both an administrative and strata perspective, grounding her in the processes and challenges that sit behind effective support for owners corporations.

A major turning point came in 2018 when she returned to full-time work as the inaugural Executive Assistant to the Management Services Director. The role allowed her to apply everything she had learnt while gaining new insight into Netstrata’s executive operations. In 2021, she stepped into the role of General Manager of Administration following the transition of the inaugural GM into part-time work.

Across her 25 years, Samantha has witnessed many defining moments: two major office relocations, including the move into Netstrata’s purpose-built offices in Carlton; and the growth of the company from ten people to almost 200. As the strata industry expanded and legislation evolved, she saw new roles emerge across human resources, client experience, marketing, debt recovery, scheduled maintenance, contractor compliance, insurance and fire safety, supported by international back-office capability. Her own role evolved from Administration Supervisor to a Group-wide leadership position connecting with every department.

For Samantha, leading the Administration division means supporting the people who keep the organisation running reliably. She describes admin as the safety net behind the scenes, helping strata managers meet legislative and compliance responsibilities while ensuring clients receive consistently strong outcomes. When admin does its job well, she says, everyone benefits.

Her leadership style is practical and supportive, grounded in clear communication and a focus on helping every team member understand how their work contributes to Netstrata’s broader goals. She aims to empower people with the knowledge and confidence to make sound decisions and to deliver the results clients expect.

In recent years, Samantha has helped build a strong library of communication templates in the Strata Space General Communications module, ensuring clear and consistent updates for clients. She has also grown the administration team, introducing dedicated client experience roles designed to enhance everyday interactions for residents living in the schemes Netstrata manages.

What motivates her after 25 years is simple: the people and the impact. Seeing teams develop, watching careers progress and knowing her work contributes to better, more functional communities continues to inspire her.

Looking forward, Samantha is energised by the opportunity to help build a smarter, more modern strata experience. She sees administration playing a growing role in driving consistency as the business scales, using technology to reduce manual work, lifting capability and allowing strata managers to focus more on client relationships.
